Delete and Re-install

Sometimes, updating does NOT work properly. In those cases, delete and then re-install the app in the following way:

Important: if you have not done so yet

1. Update BlackBerry World: Go to BlackBerry World > My World > My Apps and Games > tap on Check for Updates, if you see a BlackBerry World on the list, then go ahead and update it
2. Refresh BlackBerry World: Go to BlackBerry World > Settings (swipe from top to down) > General > Refresh BlackBerry World. Then open BlackBerry World again
3. After the re-install, you will have to login to iGrann. So, make sure you write down your username, password and email address associated with your Instagram account. If you are not sure, login to www.instagram.com to verify.

Delete and then reinstall:

1. delete iGrann
   1. Turn OFF and restart your phone
   2. Launch BlackBerry World
   3. Tap on the menu icon (bottom left) and then on MyWorld
   4. Tap on My Apps & Games and select the Installed tab on top
   5. Scroll down to iGrann and  tap-and-hold to open the side menu
   6. Tap on the waste basket (bottom) and then tap on Delete. If that does not work, then tap on Uninstall
   7. Then, select the Available tab on top
   8. If you find iGrann on the list, tap-and-hold to open the side menu and select Remove from My World
   9. Refresh BlackBerry World: restart BlackBerry World and go to Settings (swipe from top to down) > General > Refresh BlackBerry World
2. restart your phone and check if the icon is really gone from the home screens, IF NOT GONE, redo item 2
3. Check to see if the iGrann icon appears on the Memory page: phone Settings > App Manager > Device Monitor > Memory?
   1. If it does not appear,
      1. Re-install iGrann.
      2. Make sure you install from a strong WIFI network. BlackBerry World does not handle weak network connections well.
      3. IMPORTANT to approve all permissions for the app.
   2. If it does appear,
      1. Try the different uninstall options from here.
      2. Restart your phone after each time.
      3. Also, if the home screen icon comes back, restart this procedure on step 2.
